Anna Georgia Chatzimarkou works as a Project Management Consultant at RTD TALOS. She graduated from the Department of Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2025 and is completing her MSc in Sustainable Environmental Engineering at the Open University of Cyprus. Her MSc dissertation focuses on sustainability standards and indicators, incorporating primary research through a questionnaire-based survey across the European Union.

Her academic background combines the analytical thinking and rigorous scientific methodology of Physics with the interdisciplinary, systems-oriented approach of Engineering, supporting the development of innovative, practical and environmentally sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges.

She has gained substantial international research experience. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, she completed a traineeship at the University of Padua in Italy, where she worked on experimental data analysis. During her subsequent internship at RTD TALOS, she developed expertise in the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of innovative construction materials, as well as in the management and implementation of European research projects—the field in which she now works professionally.

Alongside her academic and professional activities, she has been actively involved in volunteering. In addition to supporting sporting events and educational initiatives, she was an active member of the student group PATh (Physicists of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), contributing to science communication and public outreach through educational and awareness-raising activities.

She is fluent in English, French and Italian.
