ECOROUTS

Joint actions for the creation of green – environmentally friendly routes within tourist areas and is implemented in Greece in the Municipalities of Heraklion and Chania, and in Cyprus in the Municipalities of Paphos and Aradippou

Subproject: Evaluation of the 7-month pilot operation of the electric bus in the city of Paphos. The project aims is to reduce CO2 emissions and other harmful gases, both for human health and for the natural environment, and to promote actions that help reduce environmental risks from urban transport. Sub-objectives are to create incentives for the use of environmentally friendly urban transport, to strengthen access to more user-friendly information services in order to increase the accessibility & attractiveness of areas & to create the right conditions for the adoption of e-mobility in both areas of the project as & beyond.
