Qualifications:
• Either holders of a University Diploma or title or equivalent qualification, or
• Holders of a high school diploma from a recognized secondary school with a minimum grade of 17/20 or 85/100.
• Holders of an ECDL (European Computer Driving License) certificate in the following four mandatory modules: Computing Essentials, Online Essentials, Spreadsheets, Word Processing, or other equivalent qualification,

• And/or holders of the Pearson LCCI Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting (VRQ) or the Intermediate (Intermediate) examination in Accounting of the London Chamber of Commerce or any other examination approved as equivalent by the Minister of Finance.
• Very good knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English.

Qualifications:

Meet at least one of the following requirements:
Be registered carers in the Register of Home Care Service Providers or in the Preliminary List of Home Care Service Providers maintained by the Social Welfare Services,
or
Have a high school diploma and have successfully completed a training program that has been evaluated and approved by bodies recognized for this purpose in order to ensure that they have the acceptable level in matters of care and handling of cared for, lasting at least 100 hours,
or
Have a diploma or degree of two years or higher or higher education in matters related to the care and handling of those being cared for.

Companions-Mentors for children

Area: Nicosia

Qualifications required:

(a) Be a proficient speaker of Greek language.

Meet at least one of the following requirements:
(i) a diploma from a higher educational institution in special education, or pedagogy, or music therapy or be registered psychologists or registered social workers or registered nurses or registered occupational therapists or
(ii) high school diploma and experience in providing Mentor and/or Companion Services to Vulnerable Children.
(b) Have a driver’s license and a suitable vehicle to be used when transporting the children. For the transportation of children, the relevant legislation must be observed, i.e. children under the age of 12 must sit in the back seats and where required by law they must be transported in a safe car seat. For children with disabilities, the Attendants will transport them in suitable vehicles provided by the SWS.
