Research & Innovation Expert – Sustainability & Life Cycle Assessment
RTD Talos Ltd, a dynamic research and development organization with international activity in European projects and innovative applications, is looking for a new partner to strengthen its team in the field of sustainability and circular economy.
Job Description
The candidate will actively participate in the design, implementation and support of research and development projects, with emphasis on:
- Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
- Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
- Social Life Cycle Analysis (SLCA)
- Safe & Sustainable by Design (SSbD)
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of LCA, LCC and SLCA studies
Development and implementation of SSbD methodologies - Participation in the writing and implementation of European projects (Horizon Europe, LIFE, etc.)
- Collection and processing of sustainability data
- Collaboration with international partners and scientific groups
- Writing of technical reports, deliverables and publications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or a related field
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
LCA / LCC / SLCA
SSbD or related sustainability methodologies - Good knowledge of relevant tools (e.g. OpenLCA, SimaPro, GaBi or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to write technical texts
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in European research projects
- Knowledge of sustainability regulatory frameworks (e.g. EU Green Deal, taxonomy)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and communication skills
