BUSINESS SUPPORT CENTRE - CYPRUS

The Business Support Centre- Cyprus (BSC-Cy) has successfully organized an Info Day titled “Funding Opportunities and Support Measures for Business”, within the framework of activities for the European SME Week, 2010. The event took place on Wednesday, 2 June 2010, from 15:30-19:00 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Limassol.

The Info Day had as its primary objective, the provision of information towards SMEs for European Funding Schemes for Innovation (Eco-Innovation) and Research (Action “Research for SMEs” within the Seventh Framework Progamme) as well as in relation to other national and European support programmes such as BSC-Cy  services.

RTD Talos’ success as a partner in the Consortium for the BSC-Cy, was confirmed by the presentation of Mr. Tasos Kounoudes, Chief Executive Officer of SignalGeneriX Ltd., who described the European Project PROPARDET, as a successful example of RTD TALOS’ services provision.

Other presentations concerned National Funding Schemes such as Schemes for Occupation Enhancement by the Cyprus Productivity Centre as well as Funding Schemes by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
