"Development of an experimental system for mapping of lobesia botrana population in Cyprus using automated traps and wireless communication and positioning systems"

The main objective of this research project is to apply the experimenting research for new traps in a national level. For this purpose it is proposing that each trap will have incorporated GPS system for the localization of the spot. The communication system will immediately send the data via wireless technology (Wi-Fi, GPRS) to the community center, and afterwards to the National Centre of Recording Data.
